AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Process Engineer with a focus on clean water and municipal drinking water treatment to lead delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK and beyond.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with clients and partners to deliver innovative, compliant and value-driven solutions in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Chemical or Process Engineer with UK accreditation OR extensive industry experience delivering value.
• Experience leading Process technical delivery within the UK Water sector.
• Strong knowledge of drinking water treatment processes and conventional/advanced treatment technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
• Expert understanding of process safety techniques (e.g. HAZOP) and risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of Clean Water Process Engineers delivering high-quality technical design solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the regional and national D&AT practice, driving best practice and continuous improvement.
• Build and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions and maximise project value.
• Support clients in shaping infrastructure programmes through needs assessment, option development, scope definition, and business case development.
• Collaborate with UK and international teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and commercially successful outcomes.
