Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Clean Water Modeller to lead the development and application of potable water distribution network models. You will guide planning, resilience, and capital delivery projects, ensuring outputs are robust and fit-for-purpose, with strong QA and client-facing communication.

You will mentor modellers, contribute to bids, and define modelling methodologies while maintaining rigorous documentation and standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in clean water distribution network modelling.
• Strong understanding of water distribution hydraulics and operational behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for clean water modelling commissions.
• Provide independent technical assurance and QA of deliverables.
• Develop best practices, templates, and change control.
• Build and maintain clean water network models (Steady-state & EPANET).
• Lead client discussions and define modelling scope with data strategies.
