Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom seeks a Principal Clean Water Modeller to lead the development and application of potable water distribution network models, supporting planning, resilience, operational strategy and capital delivery.

You will ensure outputs are fit for purpose, provide technical governance, calibrate against flow and level data, and deliver scenario modelling to support growth, leakage reduction and investment planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience in clean water distribution network modelling in consultancy or water company environments.
• Strong understanding of water hydraulics and operational behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with clients, explaining assumptions, limitations and results.
• Carry out calibration and validation against flow/pressure/level data.
• Deliver scenario modelling to support growth, resilience, outage planning and investment planning.
