Key Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Responsible for handling own caseload in accordance with Claims Handling Protocol
  • Provide support for other members of the claims handling team & contribute to a positive team culture
  • To investigate, quantify and negotiate claims
  • Provide assistance & guidance to members during the claims handling process
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of current technical & legal developments relevant to the work of the Claims Handling department

Experience required:

  • Claims handling experience in clinical negligence or other relevant business area such as personal injury, general insurance or legal environment
  • Able to adapt & work under pressure, prioritising as necessary
  • Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules
  • Adherence to the Company Claims Handling Protocol
