Job summary

Ferrovial at Heathrow Airport is seeking a Civils Senior Design Engineer to lead and coordinate the design process across projects, working with the Design Management team, Project Manager, Clients and consultants.

You will ensure designs are delivered safely, on time and within budget, support design contract administration, handle changes, risks and opportunities, and explore new tools to improve delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating design across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design coordination and management across projects.
• Lead design package tendering, scope definition, technical review, and negotiations.
• Develop and manage Design Responsibility Matrix with clear ownership.
• Coordinate design interfaces and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Lead design reviews with stakeholders and capture requirements.
• Support consultant audits and integration of Safety and Sustainability principles.
