Job summary
SSE is seeking a Lead Project Manager (Civils) to deliver the Banniskirk Hub within our Transmission Delivery Team. You will lead civil and building packages and manage a multi-disciplinary project team across Scotland, with regular travel to sites in the north of Scotland.
The role supports the UK government's Net Zero ambitions, requires strong governance, commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement, and offers a permanent, full-time, site-based position with a salary of £68,100–£102,100 plus
Qualifications
- Experience leading project teams on large infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial background managing contracts > £100m and NEC forms.
- Excellent communication and governance for execution of large projects.
- Engineering/PM qualification or degree; professional registration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Civil & Building packages and manage Project/Senior PMs; collaborate with contractors and consultants.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, stakeholders and communities.
- Provide site-based leadership to drive progress and SHEQ outcomes.
