Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead on a 12 month contract at the Devonport site to deliver civil/structural packages for the Dock Readiness project. You will lead the engineering team, manage design packages end-to-end, and ensure adherence to seismic, nuclear safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent and progressing towards Engineering Council Incorporated Engineer level.
• Experience leading civil/structural design teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of nuclear/defence industry design standards and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to deliver civil/structural work packages to scope, schedule and cost.
• Manage stakeholder requirements and integrate them into designs.
• Oversee technical design from identification to handover, including SQEP seismic considerations.
• Provide SME advice on discipline design and maintain records per quality procedures.
• Plan and manage technical design activities and risk/control processes.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and relevant standards.
