Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Bristol is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of projects from concept to completion. You will work in a hybrid setup, liaising with clients and architects while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating technical delivery.

The role requires a strong UK consultancy background, proficiency in AutoCAD, and excellent communication. Chartered status is advantageous but not essential, with growth opportunities to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Strong UK structural engineering consultancy experience.
• Proven experience delivering building structures projects.
• Ability to develop structural schemes from initial architectural briefs.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Chartered Engineer status advantageous but not essential.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering projects across a varied portfolio.
• Coordinate production of calculations, drawings, specifications and other technical information.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with architects, clients and contractors.
