Nottingham City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and practical solicitor to lead and manage our busy litigation and dispute resolution team. The role covers civil matters in High Court, County Court and Magistrates’ Courts, including contract, housing, and anti-social behaviour cases.

You will advise clients on complex legal issues, conduct related proceedings, and specialise in at least one key area of the team’s work. Hybrid working and a collaborative culture are offered.

Qualificações

• Solicitor admitted for 3+ years, or barrister after pupillage with 5+ years call.
• Experience in local authority legal work and understanding of public law.
• Experience handling high-profile complex case work with senior officers/clients.
• Ability to manage the team and deputise for senior legal leaders when required.
