Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure design for residential developments in Alderley Edge. You will manage projects from land acquisition through to site completion, ensuring designs are economical, compliant and delivered on schedule.

The role requires a BSc/BEng/HND in Civil Engineering, UK experience with a housebuilder or consultancy, AutoCAD skills, and ability to coordinate consultants and authorities.

Office-based, salary £65,000–£70,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• BSc, BEng or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with UK housebuilders or residential developers.
• Strong knowledge of adoptable highways and drainage.
• Proven track record managing design teams.
• Experience with approvals and agreements (Section 38/278/104).

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design for roads, drainage, sewers and foundations.
• Manage consultants to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC standards.
• Support site managers with technical solutions.
• Assess land opportunities and development risks pre-acquisition.
