Job summary

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join a growing Midlands engineering business based in Leicester. This role covers the design and development of residential and development schemes, from initial site set-up through to roads, sewers and drainage design within a professional engineering environment.

You will work on a varied portfolio of projects, with long-term career development and good progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil design engineering.
• Development or house builder design experience.
• Experience with site set-up, roads and sewers design.
• Expert-level Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience using Autodesk InfoDrainage, Site3D and Causeway Flow.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering schemes across a range of project types and scales.
• Undertake site set-up and civil infrastructure design.
• Design roads and sewers for development projects.
• Produce detailed designs using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Design and develop drainage systems using Autodesk InfoDrainage.
• Produce accurate technical drawings, models and design information.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients and project teams to deliver successful designs.
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and project requirements.
