Job summary

Health Recruit Network is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed children’s residential home in Worthing. You will provide visible leadership, recruit and develop staff, ensure Ofsted readiness and compliance with Regulations and Quality Standards, and maintain safeguarding and child-centred practice.

Salary up to £56,000 per year plus bonus, with ongoing professional development and a supportive performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' management experience within a children's residential setting.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Proven experience of leading, developing and motivating a staff team.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the children's home.
• Provide strong, visible and supportive leadership to the staff team.
• Recruit, develop, motivate and retain a committed team.
• Lead on auditing, budget management and effective monitoring of the home.
• Maintain the home's registration with Ofsted.
• Promote safeguarding and child-centred practice.
