Job summary

Birmingham Children’s Trust is recruiting a Registered Manager to lead our residential home for children with disabilities. You will oversee day-to-day operations, champion child-centred practice, and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed with support from two Deputy Managers and three Assistant Managers.

Based in Aston, Birmingham, this 24-hour home requires strong leadership, budget and resource management, and commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in children's residential care at a senior level.
• Minimum 2 years supervising staff in care.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources.
• Commitment to safeguarding and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the residential home.
• Champion the best interests of young people and lead governance.
• Lead staff development and safeguarding compliance.
• Collaborate with management team and external partners.
