Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a Lead Child Protection Practitioner in Warwickshire. This non-caseholding role supports safeguarding processes, attends conferences, and works with partner agencies to secure positive outcomes for children.

The ideal candidate is a Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration, 4+ years PQE, and extensive child protection and multi-agency experience. Based at Nuneaton/Leamington Justice Centres, with travel across Warwickshire.

• Provide guidance and oversight while not managing a caseload.
• Travel to conferences and meetings across Warwickshire as required.

Lead Child Protection Practitioner

Location: Warwickshire (Nuneaton Justice Centre or Leamington Justice Centre)

Rate: £38 per hour Umbrella

Contract: 3-Month Ongoing Contract

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

This is a non-caseholding position, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced practitioners who are passionate about safeguarding and child protection but are looking to step away from managing a caseload. You will play a key role in supporting safeguarding processes, attending conferences and working alongside partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Minimum 4 years post-qualified experience
• Extensive Child Protection and Safeguarding experience
• Strong understanding of multi-agency working and child protection procedures
• Ability to obtain Police Vetting due to the role being based within police buildings

Working Arrangements

• The successful candidate will be based at either: Nuneaton Justice Centre, or Leamington Justice Centre
• Full duty days (usually twice per week)
• Travel to child protection conferences and related meetings across Warwickshire (typically once or twice per week in addition to duty days)
