Tata Steel UK Limited, Shotton, is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to lead process safety engineering across steel processing, roll forming, slitting and fabrication. You will ensure compliance with HAZOP, PHA, PUWER and related safety standards while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires Chartered engineering status or equivalent and about 5 years' experience in process safety. A dynamic, adaptable leader is essential to meet evolving demands.

Qualificações

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (chartered preferred).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in process safety systems.
• Proven managerial experience and stakeholder liaison.
• Ability to negotiate with senior management and suppliers.
• Flexible, proactive and adaptable to changing demands.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process safety activities across steel processing and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Define equipment specifications and manage contractors for safety.
• Manage budgeting and drive process safety improvements.
• Coordinate process safety system components and data collection.
• Guide team development and continuous improvement initiatives.
