Job summary

LQ Resorts is seeking an experienced professional to join our kitchen team. You will contribute to preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the highest standards, working with senior chefs to maintain quality and safety across all food service.

Demonstrating strong organisation, leadership and a calm approach under pressure, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations and consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable culinary experience in similar role.
• Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Ambitious to learn, grow and develop.
• Flexible schedule required.
• Ability to work well as a team or on a sole basis.
• Able to work under pressure calmly and professionally.
• Aiming to deliver high standards of presentation and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to the standards set by management.
• Work with Senior Chefs to ensure food to laid down standards.
• Maintain hygiene and safe working practices across the kitchen.
• Monitor portion and waste to support profit margins.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals and materials.
• Assist with training and supporting kitchen staff as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
