Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a talented Lead Chef for Alperton Upper School in Wembley to join our Education team. The role is permanent and 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with term-time only (39 weeks).

You will manage food production, maintain quality and safety standards, and oversee kitchen operations in line with menus and brand guidelines. We offer a supportive team, career development, life assurance, pension contributions, and perks such as PerkBox discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent team player.

• Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Able to pass DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets.
• Full knowledge of all menu items served.
• Management of production to ensure minimal wastage.
• Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods.
• Maintenance of food quality and brand standards.
• Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents.
• Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction.
• Assistingin the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists.
