Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Cook in their Education sector to join our team at Salvation Army, Salisbury House. You will prepare meals for residents and ensure food safety compliance.

We offer a permanent role with early starts, 5 over 7 shift pattern, plus free meals on shift, access to PerkBox, life assurance and pension contributions, and opportunities for training and progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cooking role.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for approx. 60 residents three times a day according to a menu and recipes.
• Assist with stock takes and planning of specials; serve and supervise staff.
• Comply with health and safety including allergens; participate in online training.

Job Responsibilities

• Cooking of meals for approx. 60 residents three times a day, Following a menu & recipes.Assistingwith stock takes and planning of specials. Serving on counters, some cleaning duties, supervising 4 staff.
• Must be able to work as a team member whilst still supervising catering assistants.
• Complying withhealth and safety including allergens. Online training will berequiredalong with helping withday to day onjob training.
