Job summary

Northern Healthcare is launching a flagship service in Knowsley and seeks an enthusiastic Team Leader to drive daily operations and support a dedicated team of Support Workers. You will work with the Service Manager to establish culture and high standards of care from the outset.

The role emphasizes leadership, compassion, and a commitment to outcomes for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. It offers a structured development path and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading care teams and coordinating support in health/social care settings.
• Ability to mentor and supervise Support Workers to achieve positive outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with the Service Manager.
• Support development and launch of the new Knowsley service.
• Promote independence, choice and positive outcomes for people supported.
• Supervise and motivate Support Workers; ensure safe, person-centred care.
• Safely administer prescribed medication and maintain records.
