Job summary

Dignus Group is seeking a proactive Team Leader to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for adults with complex needs. You will combine hands-on support with leadership responsibilities and help guide a compassionate team to succeed in a fast-paced home environment.

You will supervise shifts, support daily living activities, implement care plans, and ensure recording accuracy while maintaining safeguarding standards. A Level 3 in Health & Social Care is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with complex needs.
• Senior/leadership experience in care.
• Calm, resilient, and person-centred approach.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and care planning.
• Strong record keeping, medication and auditing skills.
• Willingness to take ownership and guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and manage day-to-day running of the home.
• Support adults with daily living, routines and independence goals.
• Motivate and guide the team to achieve best outcomes.
• Support care plans, risk assessments, medication, and records.
• Collaborate with the Registered and Deputy Managers to maintain standards.
• Provide guidance and direction to Support Workers on shift.
• Delegate tasks and lead by example; supervise when needed.
• Support staff development and carry out supervisions.
