Job summary

Lifeways Group in Brentwood is seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to guide a team of Support Workers, deliver person-centred care, and support individuals to maintain independence at home and in the community.

This full-time role (37.5 hours) covers a rota-based schedule with training opportunities, funded qualifications, and a range of rewards. Applicants with an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care and leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team and supervising staff.
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Ability to deliver person-centred care and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
• Support daily routines and personal goals.
• Conduct staff supervisions and development.
• Promote safeguarding and best practices.
• Communicate with families and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate records using IT systems.
