Job summary

Lifestyles Community Services (LCS) – The Coach House in Herne Bay is seeking a dedicated care support worker to help young adults with disabilities. You’ll lead by example, deliver high standards of care, and support independence.

You’ll assist with medication administration, use hoists safely, and maintain MAR records. The role includes a full induction, ongoing training and flexible working options, with 39 hours per week at £13.86/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience of disability or supporting people with disabilities.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Clear written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver high standards of care and support.
• Support young adults to build confidence, develop skills and enjoy meaningful activities.
• Offer calm guidance to colleagues to maintain best care practices.
• Help ensure medication is ordered, stored, audited and administered safely with senior staff.
• Use hoists and moving techniques safely to promote dignity and independence.
• Keep accurate MAR charts and care documentation.
