Avenues Group in Birchington, Kent is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist three adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours. Roles include aiding daily living, community participation and personal care, with a rota that includes early mornings, evenings and sleep-ins.

Full-time and part-time options available, with driver preference due to service location. Successful applicants will need quick thinking, proactivity and genuine enthusiasm for empowering individuals

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or supporting adults with disabilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings and sleep-ins.
• Driver's licence preferred due to service location.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to engage in daily living activities and participate in local activities.
• Facilitate social activities and maintain connections with family and friends.
• Assist with financial management.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable home and undertake shopping duties.
• Provide and encourage personal care.
