Job summary

National Star College is seeking a Lead Care and Support Worker for Bradbury Gardens, an off-site residential provision near Pittville Park in Cheltenham. You will lead shifts, supervise staff and deliver person-centred care to young adults with learning disabilities.

The role requires leadership, experience in care settings, and a commitment to National Star values. Offered as permanent full-time with a two-week rota and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
• Leadership experience and ability to supervise colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and manage day-to-day operations of the service.
• Supervise and support colleagues within the team.
• Deliver high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Collaborate with therapists, clinical teams and education colleagues.
• Support students in residence and in the local community.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for students.
