Job summary

National Star in Cheltenham is seeking a Lead Care and Support Worker for Bradbury Gardens, our off-site residential provision. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality, person-centred care to young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will collaborate with therapists, clinicians, and education colleagues to support students at Bradbury Gardens and in the community, promoting independence and wellbeing while upholding National Star's values every day.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs.
• Experience leading shifts, supervising colleagues or taking on additional responsibilities within a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise the day-to-day running of the service.
• Supervise and support colleagues within the team.
• Deliver high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Collaborate with therapists, clinical teams and education colleagues.
• Support students in residence and in the local community.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for students.
• Model National Star's values as a positive role model.
