Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in the UK is seeking a Care Community Manager to lead a team of carers and senior carers, ensuring high standards of person-centred care across the community and working closely with the General Manager and leadership team.

You will oversee care delivery, ensure accurate care plans and safe medication management, coach and mentor your team, and foster a positive environment for residents, families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience leading a care team within a care home environment.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care planning and medication management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Positive, professional and compassionate approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people to live well.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of carers and senior carers to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
• Oversee care delivery, ensure care plans are accurate and up to date, and manage medication safely.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to foster a positive culture.
• Collaborate with General Manager and leadership team to drive quality and resident wellbeing.
