Job summary

Spire St Anthony's Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Cardiac Physiologist to provide clinical leadership within our Cardiology team. Based in Sutton, you will oversee the Cardiac Catheter Lab and Outpatient Departments, delivering expert cardiac investigations and leading a physiology team to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will perform and report advanced electrophysiology, rhythm management and non-invasive studies, while supporting patients through diagnostic and interventional

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience within cardiac physiology, including angiography, electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm management.
• Experience supporting cardiac catheter lab procedures and pacemaker therapies.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical expertise across cardiac physiology investigations and procedures.
• Perform and report advanced electrophysiology, rhythm management, catheterisation and non-invasive studies.
• Support patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain departmental policies, protocols and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and support to Cardiac Physiologists.
• Assist in evaluating and updating equipment and consumables.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care.
