Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a highly specialised Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientist to lead and develop the CRM/Electrophysiology and invasive services. The role involves managing a team of physiologists, driving innovation, and expanding CP-led clinics across EP, CRM and related procedures.

You will work across Catheter Lab settings with a focus on maintaining BHRS/IBHRE accreditation, auditing performance, and supporting strategic service

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a band 7 CP in complex CRM implant and clinic work.
• Experience managing Cardiac Physiologists and CP led services.
• UK NHS registration and IBHRE/BHRS accreditation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Cardiac Physiologists, driving innovation and recruitment.
• Provide expert CP-led service across EP, CRM and invasive procedures.
• Ensure procedures and data meet national guidelines and accreditation.
• Oversee workload across sites with workforce planning for capacity.
• Support audits, capacity planning and business case development.
• Lead on budget management and stock control for consumables.
