Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist/Clinical Scientist in Echocardiography for a fixed-term 22-month contract. The role provides hands-on echocardiography support and educational duties across multiple sites, based at LHCH and contributing to a regional electronic fast-track pathway for severe aortic stenosis.

Qualifications

• ONC/BTEC MPPM or Equivalent.
• HNC/HTEC MPPM or Equivalent.
• BSc Clinical Physiology; AHCS registration; BSE accreditation or equivalent; ILS/ALS.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialised technical expertise in echocardiography.
• Provide independent outreach and liaison with LHCH structural valve service.
• Collaborate with TAVI nurses and medical teams.
• Independently interpret results and produce reports for advanced diagnostics.
• Supervise Trainee Cardiac Physiologists and other staff.
