Job summary

InHealth is seeking a Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our Echo team in North London clinics. You will perform and report transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards using modern imaging systems and support the second-opinion rota.

You will mentor trainee physiologists, participate in audits, and help maintain high-quality patient care while collaborating with GPs and hospital teams. Hybrid and flexible working is available to support professional development.

Qualifications

• BSE accreditation (or equivalent) with strong experience in adult transthoracic echo.
• Confident, independent reporter with a patient-first mindset.
• Up-to-date on Information Governance, Data Protection, and Caldicott Principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.
• Provide expert support through second-opinion rota and uphold clinical best practice.
• Mentor trainee physiologists and support their development.
• Contribute to clinical audits and drive service quality improvements.
• Ensure equipment is maintained with regular quality assurance checks.
• Support urgent clinical referrals with clear communication with GPs and hospital teams.
