Job summary

North Middlesex University Hospital, London, is seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join a busy echo service. The role involves performing transthoracic echocardiograms and assisting with stress and transoesophageal echocardiograms within a teaching hospital environment.

The successful candidate should hold a BSE TTE level 2 accreditation or equivalent and have NHS experience in cardiac physiology.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BSE TTE level 2 accreditation or equivalent.
• Has NHS experience in cardiac physiology.
• Will perform transthoracic echocardiograms and assist with stress and transoesophageal echocardiograms.
• Will support trainee echocardiographers to achieve BSE accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Assist with stress and transoesophageal echocardiograms.
• Support trainee echocardiographers to achieve BSE accreditation.
• Work as part of a team within the echo service.
