Job summary

CPFT is seeking a Team Manager for the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service in Cambridge. This 6-month fixed-term/secondment role is part-time (35 hours per week) and focuses on leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective mental health services for children and young people.

The post holder will balance leadership with potential clinical work (up to 20%), contribute to service development, and participate in transformational staff training, including a Compassionate Manager programme.

Qualifications

• Professional Qualification and Registration relevant to the role.
• Post-qualification CPD and management/leadership qualification.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team in CAMHS or social care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management and leadership to the team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
• Undertake clinical work as required to maintain professional registration (approx. 40%).
• Lead recruitment and supervise staff within available resources.
• Establish and monitor policies, procedures and service development.
• Maintain multi-disciplinary collaboration with pathway leads and commissioners.
