Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Manager to lead a CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service. The role includes day-to-day team leadership, service development, and may involve up to 20% direct clinical work depending on background.

We have a 6-month fixed-term/secondment opportunity for a Team Manager to lead a motivated and hardworking CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service.
The role involves leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team consisting of psychologists, family therapists, nurses and CAMHS practitioners. Our team works with young people with neurodevelopmental needs and co-morbid mental health difficulties.
We also have a learning disability pathway and complete diagnostic assessments of ASD and ADHD. The post-holder will join the leadership team to lead on and contribute towards service development and clinical effectiveness.
We are looking for someone with a desire to support and develop staff within a leadership role. You will have strong communication and organisation skills, and be motivated to lead a team in order to effectively support the mental health needs of those accessing child and adolescent mental health services.
The role involves day-to-day management and leadership of the team, as well as service development. There is the opportunity to discuss how some direct clinical work (up to 20% of the role) could be incorporated into the post if you come from a clinical background. There are plenty of training opportunities available, including a 6 month Compassionate Manager programme.
