Job summary

Freedom is seeking a Project Manager for Cable Engineering (Asset) in the North-East England region, responsible for Asset Replacement, delivering safe, on-time projects with high quality.

You will lead a team of Field Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers, and Operatives, maintain HSQE compliance, and manage client relationships with Northern Powergrid while coordinating resources across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior operational role within cable installation, utilities, or power distribution.
• Knowledge of LV/HV cable networks, ideally in a DNO environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence. NEBOSH/IOSH qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Asset Replacement work, ensuring on-time delivery and budget.
• Lead and inspire a team of Field Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Engineers and Operatives.
• Act as primary contact with Northern Powergrid and maintain strong client relationships.
