Job summary

CVI Infrared Optics, part of the IDEX MSS platform, is seeking a Lead Buyer to support complex purchases and supplier performance within the Supply Chain. You will guide RFQs, improve delivery and cost performance, and drive best-practice purchasing across teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure supply chain objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Established procurement professional.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and data-driven decision making.
• Effective negotiation experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear English proficiency and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide PO placement from request to supplier acknowledgment.
• Negotiate delivery schedules to improve Inventory Turns KPI.
• Work with internal teams on supplier onboarding, quality concerns and deviation management.
• Provide tactical cost analysis for strategic buying decisions.
• Own and update the Supplier Matrix to support RFQ activity.
