Job summary

Hitachi Europe Ltd in Datchet near Slough is seeking a Business Applications and Project Manager to lead the management, delivery and improvement of business application services. You will oversee ERP/CRM/workflow systems, manage the EDI and SAP Applications teams, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, and drive continuous improvement across IT applications.

The role combines hands-on delivery with people leadership in a hybrid setting (1 day in the office).

Qualifications

Minimum five years’ experience in application management and project management.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications and IT function.
Experience delivering projects using structured methods (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall).
Experience with ERP/CRM/workflow and business-critical applications.
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and support portfolio of business applications for availability and alignment with needs.
Directly lead EDI and SAP Applications teams with coaching and performance support.
Lead upgrades, enhancements, integrations, migrations and new implementations.
Gather requirements, define scope, priorities and delivery plans.
Coordinate testing, release management and post-go-live support.
Manage vendor relationships and service performance; drive improvements.
