Join our Global HR Technology team and play a key role in transforming how people data is used across Smith+Neoew. As a Global Workday People Reporting & Analytics Specialist, you will partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful insights, improve decision making, and develop innovative reporting solutions that help shape the future of HR. This is an opportunity to influence how a global organisation uses workforce data while driving improvements in reporting, analytics, and user experience.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you'll be at the centre of how people data is transformed into business insight across Smith+Neoew. Partnering with stakeholders from HR and the wider business, you'll lead the design and delivery of impactful Workday reporting and analytics solutions that help drive better decision making globally.

Your role will combine four key areas of responsibility:

  • Workday Reporting & Analytics – You will design, build and enhance reports, dashboards, discovery boards and worksheets, leveraging your expertise in Workday's data model, data sources, primary business objects and calculated fields to deliver meaningful and accurate insights.
  • Business Partnering & Requirements Gathering – Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will translate business questions and reporting needs into scalable reporting solutions, guiding customers through the full analytics lifecycle from requirements gathering to insights and recommendations.
  • Data Quality, Governance & Continuous Improvement – You will help maintain reporting standards, governance and data integrity, identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting capabilities and ensure the organisation can confidently rely on workforce data to make informed decisions.
  • Workday Ownership & Operational Support – Acting as a subject matter expert for Workday reporting and analytics, you will support complex reporting issues, lead reporting related testing activities for Workday releases, champion user adoption and help build a culture of self service analytics across the business. This is an opportunity to have a genuine global impact, shaping how reporting and analytics support strategic decision making while continually improving the employee and stakeholder experience.
What will you need to be successful?

Success in this role comes from combining strong Workday reporting expertise with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and actionable insights. You'll be comfortable translating complex business questions into practical reporting solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across a global environment.

Key requirements include:

  • Expert knowledge of Workday reporting, including data sources, primary business objects, calculated fields, dashboards, discovery boards and analytics.
  • Experience designing and developing reports that meet business needs, alongside strong analytical, data validation and problem solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, HR data structures, Workday security, tenant management, release testing and reporting governance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non technical audiences and work effectively across a global matrix organisation.
