Job summary

Vamstar is seeking a senior Business Analyst Leader to own the requirements practice across enterprise programmes and mentor the BA team. You will drive discovery standards, verify alignment with platform capabilities, and sign off on scope decisions with clients.

You will manage end-to-end validation, balance customer requests with actual needs, and help shape the Polaris product through structured feedback from complex multi-market deployments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years as a business analyst on enterprise software, with at least 5 on B2B SaaS or data products delivered to large corporate customers.
• Has led, mentored or line-managed other business analysts, and can point to a requirements practice you built or raised the bar on.
• Owned end-to-end requirements for at least two enterprise implementations in parallel, each with its own contract and milestones.
• Able to discuss a time when you told a senior customer stakeholder that what they asked for was not what they needed and got it signed.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements practice, set standards for discovery, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Ready across Polaris programmes.
• Lead and grow the BA function, mentor analysts, and build reusable discovery assets.
• Own validation end-to-end for complex programmes, ensuring alignment with process, platform, and work orders.
• Define what customers need versus what they want and manage scope changes with impact assessments.
