Job summary

Vamstar, a UK-based AI company serving Pharma and MedTech, seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to own the discovery and requirements practice for Polaris enterprise programmes.

You will mentor a growing BA team, validate requirements end-to-end with customer and delivery teams, and ensure the scope matches business needs while signing changes. Travel within Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years as a business analyst on enterprise software.
• At least 5 years on B2B SaaS or data products for large clients.
• Led and mentored business analysts and built a requirements practice.
• End-to-end ownership of requirements for two enterprise deployments in parallel.
• Ability to challenge customers and gain signed agreements for changes.
• Experience drafting redacted user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiar with contracts, SOWs, and milestone-based billing.
• Data literate, confident with Excel and SQL, KPI definitions.
• Able to work with distributed teams across time zones; strong writing.
• Calm under pressure with fast-moving leadership and budgets.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK and ability to travel in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements practice standards across Polaris programmes.
• Lead and grow the BA function, mentoring analysts and creating reusable assets.
• Own requirement validation end-to-end with customers and internal teams.
• Differentiate customer requests from true needs and sign off changes.
• Master the product depth, including discovery, matching, and exports.
• Ensure acceptance quality with UAT scripts and pass/fail definitions.
• Define pilot KPIs and ensure data-driven final reports.
• Feed product with learnings from programmes and customers.
