Yolk Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join its technology change function in a hybrid role. You will lead a small BA team, shape major programmes from strategy to delivery, and ensure technology investments align with business priorities.

You’ll gather requirements, run stakeholder workshops, produce business cases, and manage risks and dependencies with Solution Architects and Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Lead or Senior Business Analyst with proven leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring BA teams.
• Strong business case and investment paper experience.
• Workshop facilitation expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in enterprise technology programmes.
• Understanding of Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Utilities experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of BAs.
• Gather, document and validate business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops.
• Produce business cases and investment papers.
• Scope projects and define delivery requirements.
• Manage risks, dependencies and assumptions.
• Work closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers.
• Support supplier assessments and solution evaluations.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and decision making.
