BakerHicks is seeking a skilled BIM Technician for the Aldermaston area to produce and coordinate BIM models across MEP, civil, structural and architectural disciplines. You will deliver high-quality drawings, support data management and ensure compliance with BIM standards within a Defence sector environment.
You'll work with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and related Autodesk tools, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to support project delivery and continuous improvement.
BakerHicks provides a managed service supporting a major UK Defence Organisation's Configuration Management function. Operating across client sites, our specialist team of approximately 60 professionals delivers CAD, BIM, Surveying, GIS and Tooling services within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.
As our service continues to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a BIM Technician to join the team. This role will focus on the production and coordination of BIM models across mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, as well as civil, structural and architectural disciplines. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery through high-quality modelling, drawing production, coordination and data management.
As a BIM Technician, you will have experience producing coordinated BIM models and delivering accurate, high-quality drawing packages within a project environment. You will be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and managing information in accordance with recognised BIM standards.
You'll understand current BIM software platforms, information management processes and digital delivery techniques, enabling you to contribute effectively to the successful delivery of projects while maintaining compliance with client and company requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance or assurance level for this role, in line with client and sector requirements.
In some cases, additional nationality or residency criteria may also apply due to specific client or national security obligations.
