Job summary

Butlin's Skegness is seeking experienced Chefs to join our Buffets team. You’ll bring solid experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food while leading and developing your team.

The role is full-time (35 hours/week) over 5 days in 7, with breakfast and dinner shifts. Live-in accommodation may be available (subject to DBS). Reporting to the Junior Kitchen Manager, Kirbee Yarnold is the hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Safety qualification required.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments.
• Willingness to lead, mentor and develop junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of your section in a busy buffet kitchen.
• Lead and mentor Commis Chefs; train and develop junior team members.
• Ensure high standards, efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
• Maintain hygiene and cost-control practices; manage margins where applicable.
