Job summary

Butlin's Skegness is seeking an experienced Buffet Chef to join our Buffets team. You will lead a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food.

This full-time role covers 35 hours a week, across 5 days including weekends, with early breakfast and late dinner shifts. Live-in accommodation may be available for those relocating, subject to DBS.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Safety qualification is required.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience leading and mentoring a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Buffets team in a high-volume kitchen.
• Oversee daily operation of your section with the Junior Kitchen Manager.
• Ensure efficiency, high standards and compliance with food safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and train/mentor Commis Chefs.
• Manage margins, control costs and uphold hygiene, health and safety practices.
• Inspire a fun, team-spirited environment to create memorable guest experiences.
