Job summary

Butlin’s Skegness is recruiting an experienced Chef to join our Buffets team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, lead and develop the team, and ensure consistently high-quality food that delights guests.

You’ll report to the Junior Kitchen Manager, oversee your section, train Commis Chefs, and help drive food safety, hygiene, and cost control. The role is 35 hours per week across 5 days, with weekend shifts; live-in accommodation may be available

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
• Proven experience at a similar level in catering.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of your section in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Lead, train and mentor Commis Chefs to deliver high standards.
• Manage margins and control costs while maintaining quality.
• Enforce hygiene, health and safety across the kitchen.
