Job summary

Techex in the UK seeks Broadcast Engineers to join its Technical Team, driving live video delivery to the cloud across architecture, design and implementation. You will lead design, deployment and ongoing improvement of broadcast software, work with partners to test cutting-edge products, and build strong relationships with customers for successful engagements.

The role requires experience with Tier 1 broadcasters, IP/Cloud projects, real-time transport protocols, and excellent communication in

Qualifications

Experience delivering complex solutions for Tier 1 broadcasters.
Proven track record managing IP and cloud projects in broadcast.
Experience with scripting/automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle).
Familiar with Wireshark and real-time transport protocols (RTP/SRT/RIST).
Customer-facing experience and agile delivery skills.
Strong English communication and planning abilities.
Knowledge of AVC/HEVC and ST 2022/2110 standards.

Responsibilities

Lead design, deployment and improvement of broadcast software in live transport and transformation.
Collaborate with partners to develop and test cutting-edge products and features.
Maintain relationships with engineers at customers and partners for support engagements.
Stay abreast of new innovations in broadcast and IT industries.
Work with pre-sales and commercial teams to finalise architectures per client needs.
Contribute to PoCs and RFP processes.
Manage complex projects, tasks and resources for customer deliveries.
