Job summary

Techex is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to lead architecture design and implement complex, live broadcast solutions in a cloud-enabled environment. You will architect, deploy, and continuously improve software for live video transport while working with customers and partners to meet demanding requirements.

The role requires strong IP networking, cloud experience, scripting skills, and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience designing architecture for complex, Tier one broadcasters.
Proven ability to manage IP and Cloud projects in broadcasting.
Scripting and automation skills with common tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
Experience deploying cloud infrastructure across major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle).
Strong English communication, client-facing with good prioritisation in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, deployment, and ongoing improvement of software and solutions for live video transport and transformation.
Collaborate with technology partners to develop and test cutting-edge products and features for broadcast platforms.
Develop close relationships with engineers at customers and partners to support design and engagements.
Keep abreast of innovations in broadcast and IT industries.
Work with pre-sales and commercial teams to align architecture designs with client requirements.
Contribute to proofs of concept and RFP processes.
Manage complex projects, tasks, and resources across customer deliveries.
