We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Lead Bridge Engineer to join our Amey Consulting team in Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, with shared office space, attending when necessary, and working remotely on other days. We welcome applications from Lead Engineers across this region.
Our Structures Team designs some of the largest civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Scotland, with cumulative values over £1bn.
Amey manages the Southwest and Northeast Trunk Road Network Management contracts, awarded in 2020 and 2022 respectively, each extending up to 12 years. We also have a diverse portfolio of major roads, bridges, and transportation projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, and contractors nationwide.
Our Lead Bridge Engineers play a key role within the Design team and collaborate with Transport Scotland. As a Lead Senior Engineer, you will support your Design Team Leader on various civil schemes, lead projects, and mentor junior designers.
