Elysia Battery Intelligence is hiring a Technical Specialist to lead cell modelling delivery across multiple customer programmes, while leading a team of engineers. You will develop reduced-order models and translate lab data into robust engineering models for real-world applications.
The role combines hands-on modelling with technical leadership, shaping standards, processes and the delivery quality across Elysia's growing modelling function.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in lithium-ion cell modelling within an engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience developing ECM/ECN or other reduced-order battery models.
- Experience leading technical delivery, projects or engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cell modelling delivery across multiple customer programmes and projects.
- Lead and develop a specialist team of five cell modelling engineers.
- Develop reduced-order battery models including ECMs and ECNs.
- Translate laboratory and real-world data into robust engineering models.
- Work with cell characterisation data to support modelling of SoC, SoH, ageing and degradation.
- Manage competing technical priorities across live customer programmes.
- Provide technical direction and ensure modelling work meets quality standards.
