Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Head Bartender to oversee day-to-day beverage service, lead by example, and train junior staff in a luxury club environment. You will maintain high standards of presentation, stock and cleanliness, and contribute to innovative menus while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Your role includes ensuring compliance with licensing and safety, mentoring staff, and collaborating with the Bar Manager to create seasonal drinks and events that align with the club’s elevated

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bar experience with at least 1 year in a senior/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Experience in luxury, private members club or high-end hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead bar operations during service, ensuring a fully set and clean bar.
• Deliver high-quality beverage service including cocktails, wines and premium spirits.
• Mentor and train junior staff, maintaining product knowledge and service standards.
• Collaborate with Bar Manager to design seasonal drinks and events.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene and safety regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products, suppliers and trends.
• Manage stock levels during service and report shortfalls.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Work with floor, kitchen and events teams for seamless service.
• Uphold club brand and ethos through grooming and performance.
