Job summary

WHSmith Colchester is seeking a Costa Coffee Barista Maestro / Team Leader to lead and inspire the team, delivering exceptional customer service and helping the store meet business objectives. You will foster learning, support colleagues, and build strong relationships while ensuring a welcoming, safe and legally compliant environment.

The role also involves supporting store leadership in developing colleagues and sharing pride in the journey with customers.

Qualifications

• Current/recent retail leadership experience with KPI knowledge such as ATV.
• Experience of proactively leading from the front, helping your team on the shop floor.
• Flexibility to support other stores in the area when needed.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience of supporting employee training and development, and motivating teams to deliver their best.
